Not everyone hears the music or sees the unusual as sometimes there are big distractions,  but it’s hard to fool the dogs.

When in a new environment, blending in makes one more acceptable. The old Chameleon trick usually works but sometimes takes a little time to take effect.

Long time residents know, no matter where you are and what time it is, a snack is good to keep up your strength and the closest option at hand gets the business.

When lost in a large cornfield and trying to get back to the urban centers, it’s always a good idea to ask a “local” for directions so you can pinpoint where you are.

 An exploratory visit to a farm offers opportunities to experience smells, partake in chores, get up close to animals and generally get to know the environment.

A visitor that is not a regular can stop the conversation. What would normally be a warm congenial environment can get a little cold and silent.  A beard might make a difference.
